Jack the Collector Posted September 14, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2020 Ok fellow forum dwellers and wandering minstrel's,I am kind of using this thread to butter my own bread.I am a serious buyer of these that I don't have if you see any(also a serious buyer of anything Reichsbahn I can use).I present some rare Reichsbahn passants. The 1936 pattern shoulder boards were discontinued and replaced in September 1941 by a new system of shoulder "Passants", that were to be parallel with the uniform shoulder seams. There were only 10 Passants in the series and there were more than 10 grades of Reichsbahn officials. They seemed to be more relevant to the Reichsbahn employees trade than their grade level. The three I have are from left to right........Reichsbahn worker -- Pay group 1-4 --- Pay group 5 . If you have seen DRB photos at all your very aware of the mix mash of different insignia.Seems regulations were not strictly enforced in the DRB.
