Antique glass plate photograph identification help

Hi there! 

 

I recently came across a collection of antique glass plate negatives and one is of particular interest in regards to the military. 

 

I have no military knowledge either historical or current, and while I tried to do a little research I couldn't come to a conclusion! If anyone has any ideas of a date, nationality etc, that would be great!
