Theater & Luftwaffe uniform makes absolute sense. What comes to mind over here at once is one of the most popular German post war plays "Des Teufels General" (The Devil´s General) by Carl Zuckmayer. The story is about a couple of high-ranking Luftwaffen officers and their relationship to the Nazi regime.

I thought I would add another interesting tailor made sewing technique to this thread.  

 

This is a female policewoman's tunic with an interesting twist.  This jacket should have a three button front closure but the tailor has added an additional button to the finished jacket, presumably at the request of the purchaser.  I can only presume this is to better tailor the fit to the customer.  Also, notice that the tailor has marked his work in the inside breast pocket as is normal.  The tailor's original paper tag is also still on the tunic and is properly tacked onto the cloth sleeve as expected.  An interesting example of both expected and unexpected stitchery.
