Hello

-One australian P58 jacket
-One bonnie hat 1970 dated.
-2 Ammo pouch P37.
-2 Ammo pouch M56 US made
- One suspender and belt M56 made in Australia.
-Un compass pouch US.
-A french scarf first type (indochina)

Unfortunatly the weapon is a G1 I can't find an australian L1A1. I need to find a pants, a bump pack and somes cord to complete the display.

Hope you gonna like it (sorry for my bad english)

Nice project, coming along fine. Here’s a couple of Aussie kit as used in SVN

pack these came about because the bum pack bedroll combination sucked, and the 1908 pattern pack was not much better. This pack has 4 compartments, lower one for bedroll and spare clothes. Two upper side compartments for rations and mess tin, top middle for other stuff claymores, playboy magazines and the like,(usually more ammo)

the strap on the lid and small strap in the middle is for attaching an entrenching tool.

Water bottles 4 US 56 pattern were carried, usually 2 on belt order and 2 on the pack. Australia did make there own pattern cover (copy of U.S. style with a hook for attaching to web belt eyes as per WW2 as well)which was used sometimes,

Trousers early ones had one thigh pocket on the left side and the waistband did up with buckles on each side. The later Australian pattern has a large pocket on both thighs placed more to the front.

First aid/compass pouch as per U.S. issue.

This “digger” has got a US tropical rucksack and added an ARVN pack to the top, this is by far the most comfortable load carrying set up I’ve used.

1st pattern Jungle Green (J.G) trouser would look like these New Zealand made ones, the  2nd pattern Australian Army trousers would  have map pockets on both legs more to the front and would have a button fly and closure not the cross over buckle system the kiwis used.
