For those that do no follow the US Militaria Forum, we shared the news that our friend DJ Goodwin passed away last week.

I won't repeat every thing that was said on the original thread other than to say that DJ was a stalwart of the Dallas collecting community for many years.  I know that on occasion he dealt in WWII German militaria, but that was not my field.

 

He was an avid collector of anything associated with the Vietnam War, during which he served on aircraft carriers with the US Navy.

 

I have yet to hear a bad word said about him.

 

He is sorely missed by those who knew him.
