Tropical jacket and colonial helmet

Hello

 

there is my little tropical weather jacket with a colonial japanese army helmet. Both are in great condition.

I can't tell but I already saw some japanese jackets with different tints colars tabs. If I m correct there where so many different tints into the japanese army.

Always post photos of reverse of collar. Collar tabs should be tacked stitched on. Almost invisible. Red thread is totally incorrect as well as large loopy stitching. Best rule to judge is if tunic is mint without a handwritten, inked owners name on interior label then all insignia are suspect of post war enhancement

And let's not forget that the star point should be pointed straight up towards the chin when the collar is closed like in photo 1 and2 and in the drawing, the tabs in photo 3 should be flip flopped

Thanks for the tips

 

unfortunatly I will not have the hand on my jacket until somes mouth... so I can't see the back of the colars.
