Canvas Luger Holsters????

What type of Holsters are all these soldiers wearing? Are these in fact Canvas Luger Holsters?  Soldiers are presumably of a Non Establishment Assault Troop Unit in 1918.

Would the Canvas thus Ersatz holster be one that was made in the late war period.

In the mean time I will check on foreign pistols the Germans used in WWI, maybe these are foreign ones they are using.

They look somewhat Austrian to me.  The large re-enforced flap, the circular stitching of the closing loop, and the lack of a magazine holder.

 

Here is a Steyr holster.  Perhaps the photo shows used leather holsters instead of canvas?

Here's another holster, in Black'

 

These troops might be now Bavarians, cause we seen this, says the Bavarian War Ministry got some from Austro Hungaria, in 1916 and again in 1918.
