Steve Yes and for such an Old Timer, you would think he would of been in the Great War and had at least a Iron Cross 1914 Ribbon in the button hole and thus the 1939 Clasp. Tom Kibler Posted November 17, 2021 Share #13 Posted November 17, 2021 Very late to add to this thread, but it may be an “old” WWII vet, wearing his WWII uniform for a photo, taken in the 60’s-70’s…?? Not all veterans turned in or denazified their uniforms and equipment after the war. Leon DeGrelle (sp), though living in Spain, was notorious for wearing his uniform and insignia into his later years. I have also seen similar portraits taken of old veterans in their war regalia.
