The Vests worn by the 1938 German World Cup Team, we assume most if not the whole team were members of the Military.

Alfred Schwarzmann Flying Through The Air With The Greatest Of Ease. Here wearing the Heer Vest, photo before he is transferred to the Luftwaffe where I believe he was cadre at the Army Sport School in Wünsdorf.

Found a few Sport Vests that were sold, nice ones, will post these examples to share.

This one, an Army one, interestingly is in a T-Shirt form rather than a vest, just like the one, the Luftwaffe one I posted on page 1 that is a T-Shirt rather then a Vest

Another Heer Vest, did the best I could in enlarging that Manufacture Nomenclature Tag still kinda blurry, but seems to indicate it is a Vest for Sergeants, perhaps by virtue of the strip of  Black around the neck opening???

A Plain Luftwaffe Vest, without colored Staffel Bar, we guess these were worn by non flying units.

The Runner is one Rudolf Waldemar Harbig ,  champion record holder and Olympian, Harbig was a serving soldier in the Reichswehr, joined in 1932, left in 1935 to focus more on competitions, like the 36 Olympics. He is reenlists apparently, Army, but is transferred to the Luftwaffe, assigned to the Fallschrimtruppen, sometime in 1941 and as a Jaeger apparently.

Believe this photo was taken May 24 1941 at the Dresdner Kampfbahn/Ilgen-Kampfbahn where he set another world record over 800 metres. He doesn't seem to have served at the front with 7th Flying Division, his wiki says he was in the Battle of Moscow, but that's probably  error. He is however assigned to the newly raised 6th Fallschirmjäger Regiment in January 1943 in France, A Sergeant, a Feldwebel perhaps, is in Russia with the unit, a part of the 2nd Parachute Division, he is Killed in Action in March 5 1944 Kirovohrad.
