Luftwaffe named and marked Gasmask Canister

I have had this many years and just learned I could research the feldpost number. Turns out this is to a Luftwaffe light anti-aircraft battalion. Unlike many LW metal field items, this was never painted the LW blue color but left in its field-green color.

Very nice canister in excellent condition. I still try to find out the meaning of the abrevation Lg.-Pa.

I found a different site had LG. PA. Paris on a piece of equipment and they translated it to Luftgau Postampt Paris. Never know ive seen stranger abbreviations

I know LG. is Luftgau or Air District and it makes sense that PA. is for Post Ampt because the field postal number 33993 IDs the unit as light flak unit 989 HQ is in Munster.
