Hi,

I have been offered this flag.

I have concerns of authenticity due to the construction.

Any info woudl be greatly appreciated.

Material and grommets look ok but ive never seen such sloppy sewing on a flag and i have many flags...

It almost reminds me of something put together post-war, like a parts dagger; only flag parts.

Can we see the whole flag?  It looks like a vehicle recognition flag from what I can see.

Nothing wrong with it. Should be four zinc, aluminum, brass, or steel grommets, one at each corner and the sloppy sewing is actually a good sign. These are more often than not sewn rather sloppily as the one you've shown here demonstrates.

I am told that It is a ground to air vehicle ID flag and the sloppy sewing is actually common.
