A period RPPC of a man from the regiment early in the war, an a epaulette from the regiment.

Proud Kraut Posted September 12, 2021 Share #3 Posted September 12, 2021 Excellent grouping, love that Ulmer Stein. The soldier looks very young. Maybe he was one of those who volunteered not being full-aged.

warguy Posted September 13, 2021 Share #6 Posted September 13, 2021 That’s a neat grouping Dirk, and a nice Stein. I was admiring my steins just this weekend. They are so under valued I think for the beauty and history they represent. That would be pretty neat to display the collection together to accent the stein. Dirk Posted September 13, 2021 Author Share #7 Posted September 13, 2021 Kevin in the 60’s Steins were very pricey but I guess they fell out of favor so prices are good on them now...however there are a lot of good reproductions out there now
