A friend of mine found this thing at the flea market.  Is this a match safe?  It’s made of thin metal. The back is marked

Karl Friedel

Ludwigshafen

DRGM

Would that name be the maker, or the owner's name.  Any help identifying this thing would be appreciated.

thanks

DRGM stands for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster (German: German Reich Registered Design), it's like a patent, most of these type of match cases are deemed fake but some could be trench art..
