Portuguese Lizard Camo from the African Wars

As a teen in the late 70s and early 80s I liked to read Soldier of Fortune magazine. They always had great photos of exotic camo and field gear in use all around the World and particularly in Africa. From 1960-74 Portugal fought wars in Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde among others. Shown here is an Army uniform with field gear, jungle boots, and the famous fighting knife carried by many. I am no expert in this area, but was lucky enough to gather much of this while it was still inexpensive.      Scott
