can anyone tell me if this is an original W.W.2 piece or a replacement badge, it measures 1/14''x 1'' in. it's not silver it's coated w/ lacquer and well made w/ Japanese wood box

The box literally says:

軍友會員徽 

Army Friend Association Member Badge.

 

I don't know anything about these civilian organizations, except that they were fairly common.
