Beret worn in Vietnam 1969-70, khaki silk/raylon liner removed, brown edging and two sets of ventilation holes.

Thanks, interesting to note the difference in the shade of beret from the 70s to current issue. The badge during the Vietnam period was a British made example with a maker marked slider which continued as issue, until a firm In Melbourne (platatac) gained authorisation to supply fairly recently.

Kia thanx for pointing the colour difference out I thought possibly it was just a play of light with the camera as to the earlier British made cap badge was it manufactured by J.R. Gaunt of London..
