German Helmets in Hollywood

This is from the 1930 German movie Westfront 1918, real helmets no doubt, but must of have had their front split rivets replaced with something other then the standard flat faced ones as these as we see ae kinda domed.

These do look like mock up Fj Helmets right, kinda small looking, Chin Straps all wrong etc. The movie is from West Germany-France made one, 1958 The Green Devils Of Monte Cassino.

Two real ones  from a 1955 West German movie, Children, Mother, and the General.

A Real M42 with a added Tricolor Shield, this from the remake of Sahara, post a few photos earlier in this topic of all the mock ups in this movie, but there was at least one real one.

Looks like the real deal,got an MP 38 we see as well.  The movie is a 2019 Ukrainian Russian T.V. Mini Series Posledniy boy.

The smocks were made from 1950s Bundeswehr Ameobatarn zeltbahns.

The waffenfarbe isn't necessarily incorrect. Many wounded or recuperating Waffen SS soldiers were assigned guard duty or other duties within the concentration camp system.

From the 1985 ANZACS, looks like the same helmet seen in the remake of All Quiet On The Western Front, good mock up size and shape wise, but lacking certain things as we see.
