Mark K Posted November 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted November 6, 2021 Thought I might share this M 1-C Variant as thought to be used by the United Arab Emirates and or Saudi Arabia... These particular helmets were used during the time of the first Gulf War the liner and helmet body have been painted in a two tone desert swirl camo pattern which would appear to have been factory applied .. As can be seen from the images it is sporting tan cotton webbing which I noted was devoid of the small ends with the female snaps for attaching the liner as we are accustomed to seeing on other production M 1-C helmets. There is very little in the form of information and or period images to support whom exactly wore these type of M 1-C helmets and ground troops variation...
