I found this partially denazified Hitler Youth buckle hanging on a work bench in a dusty basement at an estate sale I went to a couple weeks ago. The lady running the sale said her dad brought it back as a souvenir. It included the belt hook, so I’m guessing it was cut off. The reverse is marked with RZM and M4/39.6220C0B6-5852-4B75-9F23-53D8C22F8DCB.jpeg.de292ff4430b0bbc56a7a5db92d520ea.jpeg10C2F3F9-899F-47BE-B7B7-4F33CD47ED4B.jpeg.1f987b419a7afedad22ffdb2ad259167.jpegF95199AB-F8B9-471C-87E6-D29D8EEB3282.jpeg.064a8919bda6432617f7fe78e8d6f0f4.jpeg

An original buckle with the M4/ 39 designation for Assman & Sohn, Ludenscheid, being it has been de-nazified, I can only conclude it was brought back after the Germans had been defeated, the reason being, after losing the war it was decreed that all Nazi images were to be destroyed, we see this a lot with buckles in particular
