What are these red stripe Japanese insignia?

Just sorting through a small box of Japanese insignia that a vet brought home.

 

Was able to ID everything but these and my books are at the showroom.

 

Does anyone recognize?

Seems I have seen these before, but for the life of me I cannot remember what they were for... I checked Nakata's book and the Nakanishi book and came up empty handed... Sure would like to know.  Scott
