Veterinarian Officers Visor

This is one of those instances where education got me a good deal.

 

Everyone at the auction thought it was an artillery visor.

 

Hammer price 360.00

 

I need an officer chin cord and buttons if anyone wants to help me out.

I am not a very discriminating collector and tend go after anything that is not reproduction.

 

But putting that aside I used to have a Cav and Art NCO M36 jackets and boy  do I want them back unfortunately they have disappeared.

It could also been a cap for a General Staff Officer, they shared the same Waffenfarbe with Veterinary units, Carmine Red.

This one is named to a Doctor so I believe it stands a better chance of being veterinarian. But it could be General staff.
