I just finished painting this sauce bawl and wanted to post it on here, to get some feedback on how I did. I think it turned out pretty good, but let me know what you think. I wanted to paint something Viet Cong/NVA related of the Vietnam war and thought a sauce bowl would be it. In the middle of the bowl I painted the Vietnam flag with a crossed ak47 and stick grenades in there pouch. On the left I painted a bamboo forest and on the right I painted a Vietnam hut. On the outside of the bowl I painted a NVA pith helmet. I made sure to add the buckle and the star badge, I even gave the helmet a weathering look. I do apologize if some of the photos look weird, I tried my best to get good photos. The sauce bowl definitely looks better in person though.

Looks nice. Underglazed?  Rich A. in Pa.

Yeah, it's been glazed over, so you could actually use it for a sauce bowl if you wanted to but I'll probably just display it and not actually use it.

I was wondering. I did that kind of stuff in high school art class.  Rich A. in Pa.
