Tom Kibler Posted March 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 8, 2022 100% untouched. It’s a great study in period textiles. Plus, it’s got a great salty look.
SARGE Posted March 8, 2022 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2022 Nice! I really like the stitching on the insignia. The bevo style breast eagle is properly sewn on with the top sewn down and then lapped over where the V stitching took over. The mouse grey collar tabs are sewn on by the same hand with the same machine. What color is the piping on the shoulder boards?
Tom Kibler Posted March 8, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted March 8, 2022 Pink 😊 At least I think they are.
SARGE Posted March 10, 2022 Share #4 Posted March 10, 2022 Thanks, it is often hard to tell the correct color on a computer. Better to ask the person who has it in hand. I do like the faded nature of these shoulder boards as they nicely match the fading of the tunic.

Fortunes Of War Posted March 25, 2022 Share #6 Posted March 25, 2022 Great images, Tom! I agree with Sarge, the stitching is as it should appear. Killer pink piped boards!
