Was this uniform permitted to be worn by Africa Corps personnel on leave or convalescing in Germany??? Schmidt was a Flak Officer, seen action in the USSR 1941-42, unit not given. Wedding took place I believe when Schmidt was on Staff at the Reichsluftfahrtministerium Berlin.
