Digi-Shots Posted March 25, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2022 Interesting brass ship plaque… I found a lighter on eBay with the same design and “PCG-616” notation for His Majestry’s Ship “Hitteen”. Between 1977 and 1983 Tacoma Boat (Tacoma, WA) built a class of four CODOG powered “PCG” for Saudi Arabia - Badr-class, 245 feet, 1,038 tons, 30 knots. PCG-616 “Hitteen” was one of them. Does anyone know why the two crests or emblems are different? This the one for the Saudi Royal Navy:
numbersix Posted March 31, 2022 Share #2 Posted March 31, 2022 I replied to your previous post on this plaque here: ٦١٦ is arabic for 616.

numbersix Posted March 31, 2022 Share #4 Posted March 31, 2022 Very welcome, as far as I know Saudi Arabia use Arabic numerals on their ships so I was not sure why the ship on the buckle had Roman numerals.
