Greeks at this time had pushed the Italians back over the Frontier into Albania and followed after them, but stymied in the bad weather and settled down on the defense inside Albania, with the Italians not making any head way, the Italians in the eyes of Germany, humiliated yet again, and Germany soon has to go in a break the stalemate,  not only to help Italy but to secure their Southern Flank for the planned Invasion of the Soviet Union. especially now that the  British were in Greece since March,
