southwestcentral Posted April 11, 2022 Share #1 Posted April 11, 2022 Unfortunately I have little background information on the item, as it was discovered amongst my father's things, after his death. He was a WWII veteran, but unless I'm mistaken, it's unlike bayonets used by the U.S. at the time. My father was also a world-traveler, however, as well as a haphazard collector of all things interesting, so there's really no way to readily follow up on the item's provenance. Any information would be appreciated, and more photos are available as needed. Thanks very much!

Bamareb Posted April 11, 2022 Share #3 Posted April 11, 2022 Nice blade—no markings at the base of the blade? As noted a sawback—not an expert but could be wwi or ii—waffenfabrik made one during wwi that looks similar to yours…..could inflict some rough damage
Mr.Jerry Posted April 11, 2022 Share #4 Posted April 11, 2022 There is usually a small Geneva cross stamped on the handguard.
