Son of a gunner Posted June 12, 2022 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2022 Hello there, I am hoping that members may be able to help me to identify a group of insignia from my collection. So far I have had no luck with any of these. I am attaching photos of the badges and I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me. Many thanks Son of a gunner. Proud Kraut Posted June 14, 2022 Share #2 Posted June 14, 2022 Welcome to the WMF! I think No. 8 is a collar rank insignia of an Austrian Lt (artillery).
Son of a gunner Posted June 15, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted June 15, 2022 Many thanks for your reply Proud Kraut. These are quite a difficult group of badges to identify and in the case of number 8 I had looked through many rank board reference books without success so you have been a big help. Son of a gunner Posted September 1, 2022 Author Share #4 Posted September 1, 2022 Hello there , I was wondering if numbers 3 and 4 might be US? Generally they are turning out to be a tough group of badges to identify. Regards Son of a gunner
Proud Kraut Posted September 1, 2022 Share #5 Posted September 1, 2022 No. 3 looks like the coat of arms of a city or region to me. The letters Y & C of No. 4 remind me of other yacht club patches I have seen.
