Hello Folks,    I just found this nice Polizei photo while sorting through some of collection photographs. If anyone would please be so kind as translate the reserve inscription for me, I'd be much appreciative. THANK YOU

               Best,     Dom P.

Hi Dom, no problem:

"Dir zur freundlichen Er-

innerung an gute und böse

Tage im Weltkrieg

1939 - 1943

Ansberg im Januar 1943

Dein

Emil Hofmo ckel"

For you as a memento of good and bad days during the world war 1939 - 1943. -

Ansbach is a town close to Nuremberg, Bavaria.

THANKS AGAIN My Friend !! As always, your very kind assistance is most appreciated !!

Lars, I forgot to ask you, what does the last few lines translate as ? Could that indicate, ' taken in Ansberg, January 1943' ? And the final lines his name, although that appears somewhat odd as a name ?

Ansberg im Januar 1943

Dein

Emil Hofmo ckel"

THANKS Lars !! That's kind of what I thought, yet I always prefer to have you confirm things for me. You have a great night my Friend, take care,
