My nephew gave me a 3d resin printer so I decided to print some Napoleonic soldiers to use as Mexicans.
I had the time machine 54mm defenders ( really 1/35 scale no way 54mm) and always wanted to do an Alamo Dio !
All the Mexicans are 3d printed but the Sapper and casualty figures !  The wall is foam Alamo wall from toy soldiers store online .
A work in progress . Getting the scale of the resin printer is the most trying !

Excellent dio so far. Great looking figures, your paintwork is amazing. Really looking forward to seeing the next WIP photos.

Very nice work. Makes me feel like sitting down and watching the John Wayne version of 'The Alamo'. It might not have been "artistically" correct but it had epic panorama, and it was just a good film to watch.

A few updated pics ! Having a hard time scaling the 3d printed Mexican lancers !
they a bit big imo but I tried next scale down on program and they printed too small ! It’s only drawback with printing them ! It’s a guessing game on scale ?
I converted some masterbox confederate soldiers to Alamo defenders and some Mexicans .
still work in progress .

The dynamic of your dio is awesome. Love the gunsmoke and explosion effects (is the explosion illuminated cotton?). Can´t get enough of regarding these photos, outstanding!
