This patch was used by the Ashbal Saddam (aka "Saddam's Cubs") which was a youth organization/paramilitary group for young boys in Ba'athist Iraq.  Starting right after Iraq's defeat in the 1st Gulf War, the boys in this were trained in weapons, military tactics, etc.  This particular patch shows a common type of construction for late Ba'athist era patches (ie printed image sewn onto a cardboard backing, the backing having either snaps or velcro for attachment to a uniform).  I've also attached a photo of the patch actually being worn.

Nice patch.  Rich A. in Pa.

Thank you.  The "Cubs" patch is a very interesting design, and it's a one that doesn't show up often for sale.
