Bring back M16 Stahlhelm

This was a nice surprise in a group that came in yesterday. Corporal William T. Doorley served in the Supply Company, 333 Infantry Regiment, 84th Division. The helmet was made by Eisenhuettenwerke Thale A.G., Thale/Harz (ET64), and is in good shape...missing the chinstrap and the pad tie has torn away, but the three pads are present and they still have their horse hair padding.  There appears (to me) to be the remnants of a name written/scratched on the rim.

Nice helmet and especially that it has the owner history associated with it.

How hard it is to source an original chin strap? I picked up an original M16 camo last week but sadly no chinstrap and just the liner band survived plus 1 chinstrap hook.
