Bullet holes in Japanese bayonet scabbards

I recently picked up a batch of 18 vintage bayonets including a couple of Japanese pieces. One of those had a hole in the scabbard and based on what I found online it appears to be a bullet hole.

 

 

 

Here’s some other scabbards bullet holes that I found online -  one of these is German the other is Japanese

Great bayonet scabbard! Does the bayonet have any damage in the same area? Please show the bayonet too. Thanks for sharing.

Considering the bullet damage to the scabbard the bayonet looks totally intact , Great photos ~ Thanks .
