Hazegrey Posted August 22, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2022 Collected some old medals while I was backpacking and now planning on getting them on display in a shadowbox. Not sure about these few so hoping I can get some info. #1 on the left - I believe is Swiss but can't find any background on it. Front reads "1951" and "KLAUS LEUENBERGERSCHIESSEN" and "RUDERSWIL-ZOLLBRUCK". On the back-bottom it reads "HUGUENIN LELOCLE" but the last "E" is the missing the top bar so it looks like an upside down "F". Anyone know the reason for it being awarded? Is 1951 the year of the award or possibly the first year? #2 top right - I bought in La Paz, Bolivia and was told it was a police officer's hat insignia. No text on the back. Ever seen it? #3 bottom right - was told these were Peruvian but found something similar from Uruguay on ebay. Both fronts read "AL MERITO". No text on the backs. Thanks for any help. Proud Kraut Posted August 22, 2022 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2022 No. 1 looks to me like a Swiss civilian shooting competition or marksmen´s festival (Schuetzenfest) insignia.

Someone else suggested that also. Thanks for the input.
