ID´d: Hollywood science fiction movie prop

I picked up an odd one today, it is a square red neckerchief, fashioned into an armband with a patch sewn to it.  I have not fun across this one before and have no clue.  Any help is appreciated.

This is supposedly a Hollywood science fiction movie prop from one of the Terminator Salvation movies.  It might be something that Air Soft Gun participants wear during their games.
