Rakkasan187 Posted September 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2022 I had the honor of being in Her Majesty's presence as a guest of the British Forces in Berlin for her birthday celebration parade at the Olympic Stadium in 1987 I think.. As an American Soldier serving with the British (Kings Own Scottish Borderers) KOSB and the Black Watch it was truly something I will always remember and be proud of.. I have a photo of the Queen in her Royal Carriage on the Soccer field taken from the stadium bleachers... As a 21 year old Sergeant at the time of the parade I knew that I was a part of history that had yet been written, and now I cherish those fond memories of serving with the Allied Forces (Britain and France) in Berlin.. Rest in Peace Your Majesty.. Leigh
