Type 30 odd ball?

I've never run into a Type 30 bayonet with a handle like this one.

Cool look to it. Hopefully you'll get a correct identification, but it looks to me like a last ditch bayonet. If you do get a better answer elsewhere, please post it here as I would like to learn what it is.

It was produced by Toyoda Jidoshoki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works) under Nagoya supervision. The pommel shape is definitely different, which makes the guess of a last ditch production make sense.
