Derf Posted September 25, 2022 #1 Posted September 25, 2022 Hi Guys, I need your help with a British airborne insignia witch period? reproduction? i don't know thanks in advance and have a nice day.
Solution Allan H. Posted September 26, 2022 Solution #2 Posted September 26, 2022 The Pegasus formation sign on your BD is undoubtedly post WWII. Most WWII pieces would be printed. Those that were embroidered would more commonly not have a backing material, but would have a white paste-like sizing applied to the back side of the patch. I believe that the austerity pattern BDs were replaced shortly post-war, so I believe this was either made as a representative of what a WWII airborne BD would look like, or it was worn by a reenactor.
