Militaria of the Past Posted September 27, 2022 #1 Posted September 27, 2022 Recently picked this up at a flea market. based on the markings, I believe it was produced sometime between 1936-1941? Unfortunately, half of the handle is damaged.
SARGE Posted September 28, 2022 #2 Posted September 28, 2022 Yes, the Eickhorn commercial squirrel logo alongside the newly adopted RZM numbers indicate transitional markings. I would think made more toward the circa 1941 date. Too bad about the damage to the hilt.
waffenleite Posted October 21, 2022 #3 Posted October 21, 2022 HJ Knives by Eickhorn with TM and RZM mark are transitionals and were manufactured between 1938 and 1941 without the motto.
Militaria of the Past Posted November 16, 2022 Author #4 Posted November 16, 2022 Thank you @SARGE & @waffenleite
