Preppy Picker Posted October 18, 2022 #1 Posted October 18, 2022 I appreciate any help. Its advertised as NK but looks Soviet to me
CaptConfederacy Posted October 19, 2022 #3 Posted October 19, 2022 I've a jacket very similar to it, and it was sold to me as a Soviet surplus jacket from the 1980's.
Preppy Picker Posted October 20, 2022 Author #4 Posted October 20, 2022 Does it have the same stamps? 16 hours ago, CaptConfederacy said: I've a jacket very similar to it, and it was sold to me as a Soviet surplus jacket from the 1980's. 16 hours ago, CaptConfederacy said: I've a jacket very similar to it, and it was sold to me as a Soviet surplus jacket from the 1980's.
Allan H. Posted October 20, 2022 #5 Posted October 20, 2022 The fact that the jacket has Soviet buttons and Cyrillic markings pretty much tells us that it is Soviet Russian rather than North Korea. The markings are tough to read, but the manufacture date looks like 88 or 89 to me. It is a fatigue blouse since it doesn't seem to have provisions for shoulder boards. Allan
