It was built is Izhevsk in 1942. It appears to have been refinished but otherwise it’s flawless. It’s the first Soviet entry in my WW II collection! Well, I may pick up some 7.62x25 Tokarev - I understand it’s a beast! From what I have found, the grips are period correct to wartime production. The pistol in general has very little wear (refinishing aside it’s pretty flawless) so the grips seem appropriate.
