This was captured by Pvt. Albert Hanzalik A/506th. It is a rather small party flag and he nicely labeled several people from A Co. (He even listed the boxing team). Hanzalik is listed in the Pulles Rosters AND most, if not all, are as well. At least one individual is listed as "Drown April 1945". So I'm guessing this trophy was taken before that incident. Flag came with one of his patches. Some other items in the group went to another collector.

National Archives website.  With over 30 professional, law enforcement investigations experience, I enjoy reuniting the history of the artifact with the veterans story.  Look there and you can discover clues to lead you elsewhere!
