Tom Kibler Posted December 13, 2022 #1 Posted December 13, 2022 This was captured by Pvt. Albert Hanzalik A/506th. It is a rather small party flag and he nicely labeled several people from A Co. (He even listed the boxing team). Hanzalik is listed in the Pulles Rosters AND most, if not all, are as well. At least one individual is listed as "Drown April 1945". So I'm guessing this trophy was taken before that incident. Flag came with one of his patches. Some other items in the group went to another collector.
Navy87Guy Posted December 14, 2022 #3 Posted December 14, 2022 @Tom Kibler- Awesome story - thanks for sharing! I'm new to trying trace Army service members…where did you get the detailed report on Pvt Hanzalik’s service?
