Navy87Guy Posted December 20, 2022 Share #1 Posted December 20, 2022 I picked up my latest addition today - an Arisaka Type 38 Carbine. It's a beautiful gun! It's Nagoya Arsenal Series 5 production with all matching serial numbers and the mum ground off. The stock is a beautiful cherry color with a few nicks and dings. It does have a crack on the left side of the stock that has been "repaired" but it doesn't appear to impact funtion. (Although I don't plan on shooting it). Here are some overall photos. One "cool" thing is that although they ground off the mum, they didn't get 100% -- some of the outer swirls are still visible on the right side.
