Vintage WW1 ersatz bayonet posters

If anyone knows what these are I would love to know. I put a G98 bayonet in the pictures for scale, these posters are big. My guess is they are US and something to do with military intelligence as they were mixed in with a bunch of WW2 MI paperwork and manuals on Japanese writing. Unfortunately the guy I got them from gets stuff from goodwill and dumpster diving (my guess is he dumpster dived these) so I didn't get any back story on them other than what he found them with.

They look like the original art work for a book on German bayonets. Made over sized for detail and then resized to fit the page. They would be photographed and the negatives  striped into flats to make the printing plates. This is how it was done in the days before everything was computerized.

These prints would make neat framed wall art for a bayonet collector.  Full size and lots of detail.

Good find!
