Brian Keith Posted February 11, 2023 #1 Posted February 11, 2023 From what I have found out, this is a nice example of the Cross of Valor Medal with original ribbon, awarded for Deeds of Valor and Courage on the Field of Battle. This example is the 1944 date, indicating it was one of about 40,000 awarded to Polish soldiers fighting alongside the Soviet Union soldiers. This was in a lot I purchased at an auction several years ago that had a large quantity of mostly Soviet things that had come into the US after the fall of the wall. Comments Welcome, Thanks for looking. BKW
Ontos Posted December 11, 2025 #2 Posted December 11, 2025 What other polish items did you find in that collection? ever interested in selling?
