Bundesgrenzschutz Cap

I picked up a minty Bundesgrenzschutz (BGS) cap over the weekend that I thought I would show.  Picked up by a local vet in a trade while serving in Germany.  In new condition with the cardboard stiffener still in place.

Yes, a minty cap.  I recall I traded a shirt patch for a peaked cap from a Berlin Policeman and it was well used.  He said he would just put in for another cap from his quartermaster so the trade was no loss to him.
