Posted March 7, 2023 Share #4 Posted March 7, 2023 Usually when you see these 49 pattern BDs with US insignia, it is because someone has added WWII insignia to them either to reenact with or to sell to someone who doesn't have knowledge of what they are buying. In this case, I would guess that the patch was simply added to a blank jacket. It wouldn't belong there and does not enhance the value by being there.
