I have seen these listed for sale at varying prices. I don’t know much about them and can’t seem to find much information about them online. I do know that the badge was created in May 1942. That it was issued through the late 1950s to the early 1960s. Beyond that I have no idea. I’m attaching some pictures of 3 that are listed on line. Any assessment of them would be appreciated along with what to look for in a war period badge. Looking at period photos I’m not sure how often they were awarded during WWII. I don’t own these. They are currently available for sale on line.

To answer my own question, the middle artillery man’s badge is post war while the top mortar man and bottom machine gunner badges appear to be WW II. The top of the badge is what gives it away as to when it was made. The scrolling which forms a V in the center is a dead giveaway for post war badges of this type.
I have attached photos of one I own as a example.
