tom63 Posted March 23, 2023 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2023 Can anyone tell me where this photo was taken? I believe it is from around 1941 somewhere in Southern Germany
Proud Kraut Posted March 23, 2023 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2023 Both photos were taken in Munich, Königsplatz. First photo shows the Glyptothek a museum, second photo shows the so called "Führer´s building" on the left and "Ehrentempel" in the center and on the right. tom63 Posted March 23, 2023 Author Share #3 Posted March 23, 2023 Thanks again PK. Those "Ehrentempel" structures have an interesting history. The picture added below was on the same roll of film as the pics in the above post. Looks like some sort of memorial. Munich also?
Mr.Jerry Posted March 23, 2023 Share #4 Posted March 23, 2023 That is the Feldherrnhalle in Munich. (still there) was used a memorial for the Nov 9th Putch fallen as well as a swearing in place for (in this case) SS guys.
