Royal Navy Mediterranean Fleet Malta

These unusual postcards from my collection depict the Mediterranean Fleet of the Royal Navy which had its main base on Malta. The last two look the same but are actually different,

Malta is a fascinating area to read about during WWII (and actually the Crimea . . . A ship went down with thousands of Turkish Crimean Medals destined for British soliders off the coast of Malta). I got a bit into it when I read "At All Costs" by Sam Moses. Then we watched the British movie "The Malta Story", which even had some real footage.

I haven't really read about Malta in the Great War. I did have to look up the HMS Black Prince just now, after reading the name on your card, and what an interesting story! Have they found the wreck site (like they do for many wrecks these days)?
